Eight-Week Empowerment Program for A More Balanced Body & Mind

A Combination Program for Nutritional Therapy and Psychotherapy

Although change comes relatively easy for some, research has shown that making changes to our lifestyle is extremely challenging for most of us. We all have individual experiences, personality characteristics and DNA that play a major role in our relative abilities to implement the type of lifestyle changes necessary to improve our health.


My experience from working with hundreds of individuals is that there is a wide dispersion along the “ability to adopt changes” continuum between “piece of cake” and “impossible!”.  From my observation, clients who adopt changes relatively easy tend to be clear about their goals, consider themselves disciplined and organized, and are emotionally ready to implement recommendations.  These fortunate ones, however, are in the minority.


For most of us, changing our lifestyles becomes an extremely challenging undertaking. We often confront multiple obstacles that at times can appear insurmountable. If not managed carefully, efforts toward positive change can turn into a negative experience: frustration, finger pointing, making excuses or blaming oneself for being weak or undisciplined.  Attempts to force oneself into compliance fail often and leave those individuals crushed and feeling hopeless. Feeling incapable of moving forward, the natural instinct is to give up and get back to “normal”.


Developing motivation for change and finding commitment to our better health and wellness can be a delicate and stressful process.  This is especially the case if we feel alone, while struggling with our internal loyalty to seemingly safe and habituated behaviors. To reduce the stress (and significantly increase the likelihood of success) when making the changes to a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle, I’m convinced the support of an experienced therapist can make all the difference.


To offer this kind of support, I am teaming up with Katrin Potticary, a licensed clinical social worker and expert in behavioral change with over 30 years of experience.  She is adept at understanding the barriers to change, knows how to incorporate powerful tools that empower clients in understanding, navigating and mastering the lifestyle changes necessary for optimal health and wellness. Katrin and I have created this six-week program for those who seek to reset their lifestyle with a focus on empowering themselves with the right tools to achieve both nutritional and emotional balance. 


Scope of The Program:

  • Two separate free 20-minute strategy sessions with both Katrin and myself.

  • Total 10 One-On-One Consultation Sessions: 

    • Four bi-weekly or monthly one-hour sessions with me on balancing nutrition. You will receive a personalized dietary plan and carefully designed nutritional supplement protocol to optimize your nutritional profile, with a focus on reducing chronic inflammation, balancing your hormones and optimizing digestive function. You will be guided toward making new diet changes each week in the process.

    • Six weekly sessions with Katrin to receive the emotional support and guidance helpful for making lifestyle changes and achieving positive emotional and mental health. 

      • Free audio on adopting change, received before intake. Listening to the audio is required before the intake.  

      • One 1.5-hour initial assessment session: Comprehensive mental health intake and assessment by Katrin that will be shared with me. 

      • Five one-hour follow-up weekly sessions for the appropriate mental health support to increase success in the process.

  • Katrin and I will work closely together as a team to support you throughout this program. After finishing the program - and depending on the result and your personal needs - you may either renew the program or receive continued consultation from me, Katrin or both of us. 

  • All sessions will be conducted via video conferencing through Skype or FaceTime. 


Katrin Potticary’s Bio:

Katrin has earned a Master’s Degree from Boise State University in 2011.  She is

intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and has an extensive

background in mind-body based healing modalities such as Mindfulness Based Stress

Reduction.  She strives to provide a non-judgmental, compassionate environment

where each client feels received and understood. Clients are encouraged to make their

own discoveries and decisions. With a mindfulness-based approach, Katrin specializes

in behavioral change, trauma, depression, anxiety, social phobia, stress-reduction,

  • $1,160

  • Payment in total is due before or at the 1st session. Preferred payment methods are cash and check, but also accept Venmo, PayPal Friend and credit card with a 3.5% extra charge for credit card fee.



All sessions are to be used within 6 months. Unused sessions will not be refunded.
