Soaked chia seeds is consider mucilaginous food that is wonderful for gut healing. This recipe is also one of the best options for people who are working on losing weight and suffer from insulin-resistance and diabetes.
Chia seeds: 2-3 tablespoons
Cinnamon powder: 1 teaspoon
Coconut milk: 1-2 cups
Coconut yogurt: 2 tablespoons
cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon
hemp seeds or hemp protein powder: 1 tablespoon
moringa powder: 1/2 tablespoon
Acacia fiber powder or psyllium husk: 1/2 tablespoon
coconut chips: 1 tablespoon, can be toasted on a flat pan if it is larger chips
fresh fruits: banana, berries, or any other fruits
soaked and dehydrated walnuts: 2 tablespoons
Cacao powder: 1/2 tbsp
Mix chia seeds in coconut milk evenly and keep it in the refrigerator overnight.
The following morning bring the soaked chia seeds out of the refrigerator. I recommend heat it up on the stove briefly so bring up the temperature to warm.
