Gluten-Free Dairy-Free Dessert Recipe: No-Baking Almond Butter Chocolate Cups
Much healthier and more satisfying than traditional peanut butter cups!
Ingredient:
1/2 cup organic melted virgin coconut oil
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup unsweetened organic cocoa powder
1/4 cup organic raw honey
Tips: Adjust the amount of honey up or down to tailor it to your taste.
1½ tsp pure vanilla extract
Pinches of organic ground cinnamon
Sea salt to taste
Optional: chopped almonds, pecans, walnuts, or other nuts
Directions:
Line the paper mini baking cups in the same-size silicon baking mold, and then place the baking mold on a baking sheet.
Whisk together all the ingredients in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth and thin.
Pour the batter into the paper baking cups.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer or refrigerator for 1 hour or until set.
To store, layer the cups in a sealed container and place them in the refrigerator or freezer.
