Golden Paste Recipe for Golden Milk Recipe for Inflamed Gut and Body


Are you inflamed and in pain? Digestive inflammation and inflammation in other parts of the body can be really challenging to deal with. Even though this is the pain that no one can see, but if you suffer from inflammation, you can feel it often or all the time. The level of pain can be different for each individual; even with a mild degree, it can affect your mood, your physical ability, your concentration, and your confidence.

One of the most effective dietary tools to help lower the inflammation both in your gut and the whole body is to use Golden Milk in your diet. Of COURSE, only try this out if you have no sensitivities to the ingredients and IF they align with your dietary protocol provided by your healthcare practitioner.

Turmeric and cinnamon are both very anti-inflammatory. What makes turmeric so "magical is the antioxidant compound in turmeric called Curcumin. Adding healthy fats and also black pepper can greatly enhance the absorption of Curcumin by 2000 times. I'd encourage you to drink this golden milk or use turmeric in your cooking often if you want to experience better results from turmeric. Not only does this golden milk has incredible health benefits, but also it's so delicious to taste. It can be a great option for a tea party! Here’s a recipe:

First, make the Golden Paste:

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup turmeric powder

  • 1 cup spring water (+ ½ extra if necessary)

  • 1.5 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 5 tbsp avocado oil or coconut oil

Directions:

  • Mix water with turmeric powder in a pan and slowly heat it up, and stir for 6-10 minutes until you get a thick paste (add the additional ½ cup water if it is too thick).

  • Add black pepper and oil and continue stirring until all the ingredients are fully mixed in together.

  • Allow the paste to cool. Store in the refrigerator in a jar for up to 1-2 weeks.

 

Second, make the Golden Milk:

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 tsp golden paste made from the steps above.

  • 1 cup of coconut milk, cashew milk, or almond milk

  • 1 tsp organic coconut oil or MCT oil

  • a tiny amount of honey or yacon syrup (low glycemic natural sweetener)

  • a small amount of cinnamon powder

Directions:

  • Mix the golden paste into milk in a saucepan, and then add in coconut oil or MCT oil.

  • Heat, but do not boil.

  • Add a smidge of honey or yacon syrup to taste at the last second and stir evenly.

  • Transfer the Golden Milk into a teacup. Sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on top of the golden milk.
