What are the strategies for clean eating for families on a budget? This is a common challenge for a lot of families.
Here are four principles that can be helpful:
1. Eat more vegetables than animal meat. In general, veggies are much cheaper than meat.
2. you don't need to buy everything organic in the plant group. Follow EWG's clean 15 and dirty dozen shopper's guide when you are shopping for vegetables.
3. Buy bulk at Costco or other stores.
4. Buy foods that are in season.
